GENERAL CARE – APPAREL & EVERYDAY WEAR

Every Amazing Aussie product comes with a care label—follow these instructions for best results and long-lasting wear.

2. Wash Gently, Like Nature Intended

Use cold or lukewarm water with a gentle cycle. This helps preserve both the fabric and the vivid prints inspired by Australian culture.

3. Choose Mild Detergents

Avoid harsh chemicals and bleach. Use mild, color-safe detergents to maintain fabric strength and keep designs looking fresh.

4. Sort Your Wash Thoughtfully

Separate lights and darks to prevent color transfer. Wash vibrant prints separately the first few times to lock in color.

5. Don’t Overload Your Washer

Allow clothes room to move freely—this leads to better cleaning and less stress on the fabric.

DRYING – PRESERVE THE FORM & PRINT

Air Dry When You Can

Hang garments or lay them flat in a shaded, well-ventilated area. This helps maintain shape and color, especially for items with printed or embroidered designs.

Tumble Dry Carefully

If needed, use a low heat setting only. High temperatures can shrink cotton or dull prints over time.

IRONING – POLISH WITHOUT DAMAGE

Check the Label First

Only iron if the label says it’s safe. Many of our items are wrinkle-resistant or look best with a natural texture.

Protect Printed Areas

If ironing is necessary, turn the garment inside out or place a cloth between the iron and the print to avoid heat damage.

Use Low Heat on Delicate Fabrics

For rayon, silk blends, or wool items, use a low setting and test a small area first.

STORAGE – PROTECTING YOUR COLLECTION

Store Clean, Store Smart

Always store garments clean and dry to prevent mildew or odor. Fold heavy items like jumpers and hoodies to avoid stretching.

Avoid Direct Sunlight

Keep your items in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight, which can fade colors over time.

Use Appropriate Hangers

FABRIC-SPECIFIC CARE

• Cotton: Cold or warm wash, low heat tumble dry. Iron on medium heat if needed.
• Polyester: Machine wash warm or cold. Tumble dry low, no bleach.
• Blends (Cotton/Poly): Wash cold, gentle cycle. Low heat dry. Turn inside out to protect graphics.
• Rayon or Silk Blends: Hand wash or use a delicate cycle. Air dry flat. Iron on low with a cloth.
• Wool: Hand wash with wool-specific detergent or dry clean. Lay flat to dry.
• Canvas or Printed Decor (e.g., bags, shoes): Spot clean only with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash.
• Home Decor Items (blankets, pillow covers, wall hangings): Gentle cycle cold wash. Air dry or tumble dry low to maintain vibrancy.

ACCESSORY CARE – DETAILS MATTER

Bags & Wallets

• Spot clean spills immediately with a soft, damp cloth.
• Avoid overloading to maintain shape.
• Store in dust bags or drawers when not in use.

Hats & Caps

• Hand wash with mild soap. Air dry in natural shape.
• Avoid crushing structured caps or brims.

Scarves & Shawls

• Hand wash or machine wash on delicate cycle, depending on the fabric.
• Lay flat to air dry to retain shape and softness.

Jewelry & Pins

• Store in a dry, cool place—preferably in a soft pouch or jewelry box.
• Avoid water, perfume, and lotion exposure.
• Polish gently with a microfiber cloth when needed.
